For the majority of the year in North Carolina, we have warm, sunny weather with enviable beaches. But our winters are cold, wet, and dreary, and if you’re an avid golf player in Lake Norman or the surrounding area, you know how hard it is to set aside your clubs for the season. With rain, frost, or snow on the course, you’ll have to either travel south to play or abandon your game.
But just because it’s wintertime, that’s no reason to let your golfing skills slip. With a high-end home golf simulator like GolfZon Vision in your home, you’ll be able to accurately practice your swing and lower your handicap as if your feet were planted on the green. How? How It Works
For the complete experience, your GolfZon system will include a projector with up to 6,000 lumens of brightness that will shine on a large screen. The high-quality projector supports ultra-realistic settings that will make you feel like you’re really at PGA National.
With the GolfZon Premium setup, two high-speed camera sensors are placed on the ceiling to accurately trace your club’s motion, the impact, and ball movement. This means you can transfer the muscle memory and skills you achieve with the simulator to the real-life golf course. The Standard and Compact models include on-floor or kiosk sensors, which capture movement just as well but are less discreet.
While playing, you’ll stand on GolfZon’s Moving Swing Plate platform, which automatically adjusts to uphill, downhill, and sidehill slopes. You control how much slope you get from the settings, depending on your skill level and what you’re comfortable with. Not only will the visuals be realistic, but the ground you stand on will shift depending on the setting, just like in real life.
Installing GolfZon in Your Home
Because a complete golf simulator includes the moving swing plate, sensors, projector, and screen, a professional installation will ensure that your system works properly and is arranged for the right dimensions. You’ll need to construct a booth that includes walls, ceiling, and flooring that fits GolfZon’s specifications. GolfZon is only available at a select few retailers in North America, and The Integrated Home is proud to perform installations in North Carolina homes. We’ll handle the wiring, mounting, and software assembly, so all you’ll need to do is step up to the tee.
Why You’ll Love a Golf Simulator
In winter months, it’s important to stay active and stick to your passions. We often resort to watching movies, looking at our phones, or other passive activities when the weather keeps us indoors. But with a golf simulator, you won’t feel rusty when springtime arrives, and you’ll find yourself letting off steam in a healthy, productive manner.
Plus, a golf simulator lets you refine your skills and have fun with your family as you take turns on different courses. The system’s online network allows you to connect with up to six other players at a time so that you can challenge friends with their own simulators. Virtually travel the globe on over 190 world-class courses, including St. Andrews Old, Pebble Beach, Mission Hills, Hong Kong GC, and more.
