The Integrated Home Celebrates Three Years as a Luxury Tier HTA Dealer

Trust an HTA-Certified Integrator for Smart Home Automation

If you’d like to bring multi-room audio, a home theater, or smart technology to your Charlotte, NC home, you want to be sure it works perfectly, looks great, and will be installed without delays or issues. But if you’re using a DIY approach or hire a subpar integrator, you may be left with a mess of wires, a system that isn’t wholly connected or is challenging to upgrade years down the line.

So how can you ensure your smart home automation installation is the best? Look for an HTA Certified integrator. The Home Technology Association upholds the only industry standard of excellence for home technology installation companies. In Charlotte, The Integrated Home has been a Luxury Tier member for the past three years. We’ll explain what that means and more below!

What Is the Home Technology Association?

Like the best restaurants are awarded Michelin stars, the HTA recognizes smart technology companies. A team of veteran industry professionals established the Home Technology Association to certify excellence in the field. Its Board of Advisors created rigorous standards for companies to become HTA certified so that consumers are empowered with the best information.

How Does a Company Qualify for Certification?

To qualify for HTA certification, the company must have more than three years of successful business performance and a stellar reputation in the marketplace. The integrators must not have litigation history or tax liens and must have at least $1 million of liability insurance. An HTA-certified company has not filed for bankruptcy in the past five years and must provide background checks on all employees. Additionally, an HTA-approved business has endorsements from at least three manufacturers, local industry professionals, and designers or builders.

What Does Luxury Tier Mean?

HTA Certified Luxury companies specialize in homes between 5,000 and 10,000 square feet with high-end interior design and architecture. Their projects will typically take weeks or months to complete and will collaborate with luxury architects, builders, and interior designers. Certified Luxury members install high-performance home theater and audio systems.

How Can I Find an HTA-Certified Company?
