Group Rooms with the Sonos App
When you own multiple speakers by Sonos—whether it’s the One SL Wireless Speaker, the powerful Play:5, or Sub—you can group them all to play the same tunes in sync. Grouped speakers will share the same song queue from the Sonos app and will stay grouped until you choose to deselect them. From the Room tab on the app, tap “Group” and select the rooms you want to add and press “Done.” You can also choose “Everywhere” to merge every speaker in the house. Your system will automatically recognize all speakers that are powered on over the network, so you won’t need to fiddle with wires or settings.
Now, you’ll enjoy your favorite playlists and albums as you walk through the house. You can slide the volume up and down for the home as a unit or adjust one particular speaker. “Party Mode” merges all of the rooms instantly, and connecting the Playbar, Playbase, or Beam allows you to broadcast your TV’s sound throughout the house.
